Job responsibilities

Include supplying weekend behavioral health crisis services from Friday evening at 4:00 pm during Sunday until 8:00 p.m. Attend weekly Crisis Services team meetings, agency meetings, supervision, and trainings as required by the agency or as accepted by the employer. Timely completion of necessary clinical and legal documentation.


Need a Master’s Degree in a Behavioral Science. Washington State licensure for Counselors or social workers is needed; experience performing involuntary commitment evaluation and investigation is anticipated; and the ability to obtain a DCR designation within 3 months of hire is required.

Competitive All paid holidays are available for this particular position. Additional On-Call changes will be compensated in the emergency services-based rates. Overtime is not available for this position.

Palouse River Counseling is a nonprofit Behavioral Health Agency based in Pullman, WA. It’s provided behavioral health services to the Palouse region for over 50 years and has a counseling team of over 40 professionals who deliver exceptional outpatient mental health and chemical dependency counseling services to our clients. We are an NHSC approved site for your Student Loan Repayment Program.

Salary: DOQ. Closing Date: Open till filled.
